Youthbuild Bridge

YouthBuild Bridge (serving Rockville and all Montgomery County, MD) is a workforce and career
preparation program that engages young people between the ages of 16-24 who face barriers to
employment and aid in their development towards self-sufficiency. Since 2022, YouthBuild has
proven its success by providing under resourced, underserved, and underemployed youth the
opportunity of learning construction trades while obtaining their GED.

Funding is essential to sustain YouthBuild at Rockville Housing Enterprises, ensuring continued education, job training, and leadership opportunities that empower local opportunity youth and strengthen the community workforce.

100% Credential rate

YouthBuild helps meet regional labor needs while creating a pipeline of skilled, credentialed, and motivated workers who contribute to Rockville and Montgomery County’s economic growth. This includes the GED, CPR, & Home Builders Institute: Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate.

75% Placement Rate

Since 2024, 66 participants have been enrolled into the YouthBuild with goals of being placed in full time employment or post-secondary education.

8 Homes Renovated

YouthBuild at Rockville Housing Enterprises improves housing for low- to moderate-income families by engaging participants in building and renovating affordable, high-quality homes throughout Rockville and Montgomery County.
